Courtney Clenney’s attorney, Frank Prieto, told TMZ… “The estate is seeking wrongful death compensation, hoping to get a huge amount of damages because the policy limits of these companies are very high. Courtney has no assets for estate collection.”
Prieto added… “Courtney was a victim of domestic violence and the actions she took on the night of April 3, 2022 were meant to save her life. Once she is cleared in her criminal case, the civil case will fall apart.” Courtney Clenney, the OnlyF model accused of murdering Christian Obusmeli, has been dragged to court by her murdered boyfriend’s family…who want her to pay for his funeral.

According to a new lawsuit seen by TMZ, Christian’s estate is suing Courtney and others for their negligence in connection with his brutal knife death. The documents say the estate has incurred a lot of costs for Christian’s medical and funeral arrangements…..and they want Courtney to help pay for that.
Additionally, Courtney’s estate is seeking compensation for the past and future emotional pain and suffering of Christian’s family…..and the loss of his past and future support and services to the family. Remember… Courtney is facing second degree murder charges for stabbing Christian in April 2022. She was arrested four months after the fatal incident and although she admitted to stabbing him, she claimed it was in self-defense. Christian’s family has always believed that Courtney killed him in cold blood…the family has previously told us they want her to be convicted and given a life sentence.
We’ve reached out to Courtney’s camp regarding the lawsuit…..haven’t heard back yet.
