Shaun Ricker is a professional American wrestler. Currently signed to WWE, he performs under the ring name LA Knight for the SmackDown brand. Ricker is known as Eli Drake for his time in Impact Wrestling.
The card for the March 24 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown has begun to take shape with the announcement of a match between two prominent figures. Rey Mysterio and LA Knight will compete in a singles match for the first time ever.
Backstage, LA Knight talked to ReyMysterio and told him that he would “take care” of Mysterio’s son at WrestleMania 39 since Mysterio wouldn’t.Knight was knocked to the ground after insulting Mysterio with his right hand.
The brand split has been largely ignored in the lead-up to WrestleMania, so nothing else has been announced for next week’s SmackDown. Most people haven’t paid much attention to the brand split, but Monday Night Raw could reveal more information. The upcoming March 20 Raw show appears as follows:
